Acquired by Motorola in January 2007, Symbol operates as Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Business Unit. This unit offers a diverse collection of products ranging from mobile office devices like the Motorola Q to rugged mobile and wearable computers from Symbol. The new business will focus on enterprise wireless infrastructure (WLAN), field network solutions, bar code scanning, radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions and network design and security and management software. Countermind is a member of the MotoDev and Symbol's PartnerSelect ISV Partner Program. This program enables ISVs, like Countermind, to develop and deploy competitive software applications for enterprise mobility customers.

Countermind has successfully completed the Motorola's SymbolPLUS Validation program for the Mobile Intelligence products. Testing was jointly performed at the Symbol Solution Center located in Holtsville, NY. Validation was performed on several Symbol mobile devices including the MC70, MC50, VRC5090, MC3090, MC9090, MC9060, PDT8100 and PPT8800 over a Symbol wireless LAN infrastructure as well as CDMA & GPRS WWAN networks and MSP.
